GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Janice Hamilton Holistic Therapies will treat all your personal information as private and confidential. This information is used solely by Janice Hamilton Holistic Therapies and will not be disclosed to other parties. Your data will be stored in a secure cabinet for a period of 6 years after which it will be destroyed.
Your therapist may refuse to carry out a treatment should this be contra-indicated due to medical or other conditions disclosed by the client or third parties.
Each person reacts differently to massage and Janice Hamilton Holistic Therapies does not guarantee any particular outcome from a treatment, combination treatments or a series of treatments.
Janice Hamilton Holistic Therapies reserves the right to refuse, discontinue or terminate any or all treatments to any client. In this instance, full payment is still required and no refund will be given.
Examples of this include:
- If the client is under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs at the time of treatment;
- If the client has withheld or not provided information relevant to the treatment;
- If the client’s actions, words or behaviour are inappropriate or of a sexual nature;
- If the client is threatening, aggressive or violent, or in any way poses a risk to the therapist.
24 hours’ notice of cancellation of any booked treatments MUST be given, otherwise payment of said treatments will be required to be paid in FULL.
However, if you need to cancel your appointment at short notice because of Covid-19 related symptoms or a long-term medical condition which varies from day to day, then we shall discuss the cost implications on a case by case basis. Evidence to support your reason for cancellation may be asked for.
An invoice for any cancellation or “no show” charges will be sent to you by email for payment by bank transfer within 2 working days. Following a cancellation, payment must be received before any further massage bookings can be taken.
In keeping with guidance from the Scottish Government, Janice has introduced Enhanced Cleaning & Hygiene procedures, produced a COVID 19 risk assessment and consultation and is doing everything she can to keep everyone safe.Scottish Government Guidelines
